What We Do
Couper Door Services have been servicing all types of door hardware for in the greater Waikato for over 30 years.
We specialise in the installation, maintenance and IQP inspection of all types of automatic sliding and swing door assemblies. We also install, maintain and repair all types of locks, egress mechanisms, door closers, floor springs and general door hardware.
We currently provide routine door service and IQP inspections to hundreds of buildings in Hamilton and the Greater Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Thames-Coromandel regions. We presently hold contracts with many of the larger building management companies, government departments, tertiary institutions, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, shopping centres and Councils in the region. The majority of our clients are however owners or managers of commercial properties.
Who We Are
We are an independent family owned business and offer service and IQP inspections to a full range of automatic door operators. We provide an installation, commissioning and warranty service for a number of manufacturers of automatic door operators. We also provide local breakdown service for nearly all of the national door maintenance companies in New Zealand.
We currently have three service personnel: Grant Webster, Rob Rollander and Matthew Smart. Administration and accounts enquiries are the responsibility of Fiona Webster.
Grant Webster is IQP registered for the Greater Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Thames-Coromandel and Ruapehu Districts and is a New Zealand registered electrician.

We are an accredited service agency for Dorma NZ Limited. We also provide services to Assa Abbloy Entrance Systems Limited (Besam) and Self Opening Doors Limited. We provide services to these companies with regard to installation and maintenance of many automatic door operators under their control.
We hold an extensive inventory of replacements parts for most door operators available in New Zealand, including some obsolete models.
